Well done to everyone who has made their SuperCoach grand finals. Thanks for all the support during the 2014 season. I will be around in 2015, although to what capacity I am unsure. No doubt PODs will be involved somehow. I've made 1 grand final and I am fielding 21 players this week (including Dan Currie, Ben Brown & Zac O'Brien). I shouldn't complain too much as it's probably better than some sides.
The last POD for 2014..............
Toby Greene (GWS)
Greene averaged 83 over his first eight games, scoring no tons (95 & 96 only 90+ scores). He was injured after that, then axed after having a night out while he was injured. What followed Greene's axing was a 63 against Adelaide, but then an almighty purple patch. His last six games have all been tons; an average of 128. Then, as stated above, he's averaged 127 over the last five and 138 over the last three (161, 111 & 141). His disposal rate has lifted, including a high of 42 touches last week, and his tackle count and marks per game have improved. I don't watch a lot of their games but he's either had a rotation/positional change... or he's working his butt off. Either way he's smashing it!!
Last week I didn't have time write an article, but I mentioned the following players as good POD options:
