1. Leigh MONTAGNA (St Kilda)
Working a little bit in the shadow of midfield superstars Hayes and Dal Santo, Joey Montagna
2. Daniel WELLS (Nth Melbourne)
The enigmatic Wells has long been a source of frustration for SC fans, however with an average of 103 pts this season he has begun well. This week the Kangas take on the Suns (Minus Ablett), something Wells would definitely be looking forward to – in their one previous match-up last year, Wells belted out a massive 180 pts! Right back at ya Swanny! The Kangaroos should be in for another big win against inferior opposition – could Wells be the answer to your captaincy prayers?
3. Jimmy BARTEL (Geelong)
One of the most respected and revered players in the whole competition, Bartel just keeps on keeping on, averaging a tidy 107 pts per game so far in 2012. The Cats travel to the Gabba this weekend, a venue Jimmy absolutely loves – the last two years, in each match against the Lions at the Gabba, he has scored a very nice 123 pts. Maybe this week, as the Cats attempt to rekindle some form, Jimmy could put yet another high score together.
Of course, the other team to consider, as always, is the team playing GWS. This week that falls with the Bulldogs, so seriously consider Matthew BOYD as your captain – he is almost a certainty to score 120-plus.
