Trading will be crucial throughout the byes, in order to stay in touch with your league ranking and your league position.
Across the Multi Bye Rounds (MBR) we'll have a look at the premiums that have a bye upcoming, and ones which have just completed their bye. We'll also identify the down-grade options that can generate that all-important cash.
Backmen with R11 Byes:
Pearce Hanley - $516,900 - Ave 105
Bachar Houli - $491,800 - Ave 94
Hamish Hartlett - $413,300 - Ave 90
Jed Adcock -$467,500 - Ave 90
Shaun Burgoyne -$433,800 - Ave 89
Grant Birchall - $417,800 - Ave 97
Paul Duffield - $515,800 - Ave 96
Chris Newman - $467,800 - Ave 87
Once this round is over, I'd be looking straight to defence for premium upgrades. Back-line stars Pearce Hanley, Paul Duffield & Bachar Houli all have the early bye, meaning they'll be available for the rest of the season.
Hamish Hartlett & Grant Birchall are also at juicy prices after lean months, but look to be on the way back up. The experience of Burgoyne, Newman and Adcock also presents themself if you a) have all the others or b) want a Point of Difference player.
Rather remarkably, there are no down-grade options in the backline this week. Too bad if you missed out on Brent Staker last week. There are several options in the midfield if you need some money, so I'd be looking there.
Coming up: Will Hams, Jackson Ferguson
