Supercoach GRAND FINAL this weekend. Huge!
Congratulations to those who made it, commiserations to those who missed.
I used my final 2 trades last weekend. It was risky, a touch radical; but thankfully it paid off. Cotchin v GWS with Darley brought back in mean he'd be sure to get a hard tag. Failing that, Cotchin was in poor form the week before scoring just 60, not to mention the possibility of beign rested for the Essendon game. I didn't want to risk it, so I gambled. I took Cotchin OUT of my side (he scored 65) and traded in Tom Libaratore (who scored 112).
The second of my trades wasn't really a "requirement", but I bit the bullet anyway. Hamish Harlett OUT allowed me to swing Brent Staker to the DEF. emergency position for me to select a prime forward. Given Essendon paid no attention to Walker last time the Blues and Bombers squared off, I figured he'd be in for at least 120 win or lose. What happens? He's a late out. Thankfully, my opponent had him too. My backup was Josh Kennedy scoring 60...and being unlucky, my opponent had Kerridge who somehow pulled out a 99. Things were looking bleak, I was down for the count...then came Sunday. it was thanks to guys like Dustin Martin 137, Will Minson 154 and Jarrad McVeigh 131 that got me over the line by 39 points. Phew!

My advice for your grand final is free! Send me a tweet on TWITTER (@Ro0STA) #holdfold and ask a question of who you are considering trading, how many trafes you have left and cash in the bank.
------------------------
So who might be the most considered players for holding/folding this week?
Brett Deledio (RICH, MID $501,800) Owned by 15.72% of teams (49,259 teams) - HOLD!
If you have this man, he disappointed with 73 against GWS. He will face the Bombers in your Grand Final and I just get the feeling he's about to put his foot down. Last time they met, Hocking tagged him heavily, Deledio only scored 73. The last 2 times however, he's scored 157 and 131. Hocking will be suspended this week and there's every chance Lids will play on a Nick O'Brien or newcomer Lachie Dalgleish meaning he is more than likely to have a FIELD DAY as the Tigers will look to smash the Bombers and make a statement heading into the 1st week of the finals. A solid prediction for "off the chain". If you don't have him, I'd consider an upgrade for one of your cheaper mids.

Bryce Gibbs (CARL, DEF/MID $404,600) Owned by 43.75% of teams (137,076) - FOLD!
Some may call this harsh; but the call I made for my own team saved me and saw me through to the Grand Final. Let's face it, like me you were probably in awe of Gibbo is the NAB Cup, he was on fire in the midfield and kicking a few goals up forward. He probably got you thinking "FINALLY, he's living up to potential!" Well, ever since he had a half-game where he hurt his hammy, he's come back and had only 4 good games midway into the season. If a 70-85 pt score is sufficient for you, keep him, he may just deliver.
Gibbs has only averaged 88 pts against Port overall. I just don't see him firing up and being your difference. Too much of a risk in the Granny. I'd suggest trading to Charlie Dixon (vs GWS, last time scored 142). If he's in your midfield, an equivalent cheap option if you have no cash is Robbie Gray at $436K. As for a risky but interesting POD in your final; Freo go up against Saints looking to finish the H&A season strong; Lachie Neale has polled 120, 113 and 127 in the last 3 weeks, so with Mundy, Barlow, Fyfe and Suban getting better opponents, he may just go under the radar again! With some cash, maybe look to a star like Luke Hodge; he scored 120 last time he played the Swans and usually stands up in big games off half back and through the midfield.
Good luck in your final! Look for a POD and use your last 1 or 2 trades wisely.
