Snap em up
Besart Berisha ($326k) FWD – Still only 55% have the Albanian superstar, which is far too low despite his price.
Showed he fits in well with his new teammates and is on penalty duties.
Edward Bosnar ($176k) DEF – Could well turn out to be a premium defender by the end of the year. CCM have a reasonably good clean sheet record, and Eddie loves taking a shot too, perfect for the new scoring system.
Damien Duff ($276k) FWD – Unlike his international teammate Villa, Duff is here all season. He looked right at home in his debut and set up the Villa goal. In only 7% of sides, expect that to change.

Mitch Nichols ($275k) MID – Perth’s new recruit appears to be a vital part of the Glory’s plans and he was instrumental in the win on the weekend. Previous good record at Melbourne Victory.
Enigma
Matthew Sim ($129k) DEF – scored a nice seven points in the first match, thanks to the clean sheet. Interestingly though, he put four goals into the net in the FFA clash during the week. Could be some serious OOP* points there.
David Villa ($350k) FWD – With only nine games left, is he worth the big asking price? Especially a tough question considering he won’t play 90 minutes for some time. Clearly a class above though.
Isaias Sanchez ($300k) MID – Incredibly he’s only in 2% of teams. What Isaias brings though nous and composure and Newscorp gave him best on ground on the weekend. Looking like a great POD* player.

Flop
Shannon Cole ($200k) DEF – 10% of teams forked out a lot of money for a solitary point last weekend. Given that WSW have a couple of byes coming up and the Asian Champions League finals, offload Cole before he loses too much value.
Robert Koren ($275k) MID – The Slovenian didn’t even make the 15 for Round 1’s matches, deemed not fit enough. Expect to see him off the bench this week.
Matthew Smith ($225k) DEF – The Roar skipper had a horror start to the season and only one point to show to his 20% ownership. I’d hold for now, but it’s a lot of cash to have back there.
* OOP – out of position; because players score more or less for certain statistics depending on their position.
* POD – point of difference; a unique player.
