However come this end of the season, even the best on most well prepared teams can stumble. And more often than not with SuperCoach, those difficulties come with injuries. Adding to that the AFL has seen byes this year, and a few players will be rubbed out through suspension.
My team alone will be missing Matthew Pavlich, Greg Broughton, Colin Sylvia, Chris Judd - and there others around the country without Bryce Gibbs, Marc Murphy, Heath Scotland, Chris Newman, Heath Hocking, Stewart Crameri, Zac Smith (and Nick Riewoldt?) just to name a few.
Recent news has been released that West Coast could rest it's star players as well, meaning that Dean Cox, Daniel Kerr, Matt Priddis and the like could all be sitting this week out.
This means it will be a tough week, but most others will be in the same boat. Utilise all your available trades this week and don't assume that you'll need to save one for the GF - you have to get there first. Lastly, have fatih in those bench players who normally wouldn't play, and pick a smart captain (G.Ablett or D.Swan, although S.Pendlebury is due for a big one).
If you want to know who the best trade targets are, Trade Winds will be up later in the week - to quench your trades thirst.
So six more weeks of AFL, but only two more of SuperCoach, finish the year on a high and grab those bragging rights, or should I say, 'Shouting rights'?
