First line:
Premiums:
Steele Sidebottom
Dayne Beams
David Zaharakis
Nathan Fyfe
Matthew Pavlich
Adam Goodes
Other:
Hayden Crozier
These players incredibly all have the round 12 bye - meaning that to help out to the maximum they shouldn't be in a combination with one-another. But don't be afraid to have more than one of these guns, because at the end of the day their Dual Position status can be seen as a bonus - they're guns and will score the same whether they are in your forward line or back line.
Second line:
Premiums:
Dustin Martin
Brent Harvey
Other:
Patrick Dangerfield
Dayne Zorko
Darren Pfeiffer
Curtly Hampton, Devon Smith, Adam Treloar
All the other GWS rookies
The options here are a lot skinnier, which just highlights why Martin will be so well selected. A B.Harvey/N.Fyfe/D.Martin combination covers all three bye weeks - the best option for ultimate pretection.
However the way to go would be to swap those GWSers with the premiums.
MID/BACK
First Line:
Premiums:
Andrew Carrazzo
Heath Scotland
Brett Deledio
Brendon Goddard
Other:
Shaun Burgoyne
While these lines are based purely on bye arrangement, the Deledio/Goddard combo will be the most popular. This is because (remarkably) all of these players have the round 13 bye.
Second Line:
Other:
Tim Golds
Dan Nicholson
Sam Docherty
Golds and Docherty might play, but they certainly shouldn't be the core of your team. Focus on the premiums mentioned on the first line.
While a Smedts/Tomilson combination is a possibility (FOR/DEF) and Rowe and Pattison could hold down a bench spot in alternate positions (RUC/FOR), there are no others worth talking about.
Schon's favourite three:
1.Adam Treloar/Steele Sidebottom
2.Nathan Fyfe/Dustin Martin
3.Brett Deledio/Brendon Goddard
