- Chris Judd ($1.77) vs Heath Scotland ($2.02) - Looks like Chris Judd is back in form with 126 points whereas Heath Scotland has fallen off a bit with his 89.
- Andrew Swallow ($1.82) vs Matt Priddis ($1.95) - Excluding Dean Cox, these two players were the stand out players for both teams. Priddis lead the way with 21 contested possessions and pretty much lead the battle between him and Swallow for most of the day. Was underdog between the two, so was good value at $1.95.
- Dean Cox ($1.77) vs Nic Naitanui ($2.02) - Just a domination from Dean Cox. Nic Nat did his fair share around the ground but he got to where near Dean Cox's 215.
- Ryan O'Keefe ($1.85) vs Adam Goodes ($1.92) - Now, I did say I would be very surprised if Goodes scored over 100 and surprised I was. Based on his recent form and 'breakout' game was not expected but with a poor game from O'Keefe, Goodes easily had him covered with his 148.
- Kurt Tippett ($1.95) vs Sam Jacobs ($1.82) - Easy money, this was. Tippett gets injured, doesn not get subed off (which makes the bet stand) and Jacobs beats the recored for most hitouts. Hope we all got onto this bet.
- Mitch Wallis ($1.80) vs Luke Dahlhaus ($1.98) - Dahlhaus looked very dangerous around the ground which got me a bit nervous but Wallis' midfield work and his in and under possessions got him over the line in this head to head. $1.80 seemed to be good value if you compared both players' recent form.
Value bets of the week
- Andrew Swallow ($1.77) vs Chris Judd ($2.02) - Both players are in great form of late and this should be a very close match up. But the odds here are way off. Chris Judd at $2.02 is great value. All you would need is Carrazzo to stop Swallow and you'd double your money with Judd.
- Andrew Carrazzo ($1.85) vs Heath Scotland ($1.95) - In saying that Carrazzo will stop Swallow, he does get his own ball and score 100. Heath Scotland doesn't have many off days but nor does Carrazzo. I'm tipping Carrazzo to take this one out.
- Nathan Jones ($2.12) vs Matthew Pavlich ($1.70) - I'm tipping Pavlich to beat Jones here but all Jones need is for Pavlich to be shut down by Frawley and his $2.12 is a very good bet but Pavlich is a champion and he should kick another bag.
- James Frawley ($1.85) vs Jack Grimes ($1.90) - As I said earlier, Frawley will have his hands full with Pavlich. I'm tipping Grimes to take Broughton is he goes forward and will easily get that rebound the Demons need from their 50. $1.90 is a very good price for a small defender going against a key defender.
- Troy Chaplin ($1.82) vs Danyle Pearce ($1.95) - Every time I bet on Pearce he comes through for me and this should be no exception. Chaplin's job will be easier with Hurley out but can pull out the occasional poor score.
