I don’t like to mozz us too much…but this team is on fire. Consecutive scores in excess of 2,400 says it all – last weekend we had another win, this time with a score of 2,419 which was ranked 8,628th for the round. Overall we have crept back up to 8,916th – and we still have 11 trades left! We are now sitting in 5th on the ladder and assured of playing Finals – this week we take on the 7th team, so we need another victory to ensure we keep our spot on the ladder.
Heroes : Like last week, there are plenty putting their hands up in this category. The best of a hot
bunch was Scott PENDLEBURY (153), followed by Tom ROCKLIFF (147), Joel SELWOOD (133), Jarryd ROUGHEAD (130), Dane SWAN (126), Gary ABLETT (120), Dustin MARTIN (120), Brent HARVEY (115), Tom MITCHELL (113), Garrick IBBOTSON (113), Brett GOODES (110), and Pearce
HANLEY (105). Nice work gentlemen…nice work.
Villains : Despite another huge score we still had a couple of disappointing results. Bryce GIBBS (69) was the worst of the lot, with Patrick DANGERFIELD (70), Dean COX (70), Josh J KENNEDY (75) and Matt PRIDDIS (86) not far behind.
So, to the big questions for this week…and with only three weeks until Finals and 11 trades up our sleeve, is it time for an upgrade trade?
(1) The Captaincy dilemma – Gazza or Pendles?
(2) Should we bring Nicholls onto the field, put Cox into the fwd line and Rowe onto the ruck bench?
(3) Should we consider upgrading Mitchell to our last midfield premium?
Whilst we travelling nicely, we still need your input to keep the high scores coming, so let us know what you think.
