WB V GEL-Friday Night 7:50PM Etihad Stadium
WB: INS -A. Cooney, D. Pearce, J. Roughead, P. Veszpremi
Outs – L. Jones, C. Smith, D. Addison, J. Grant
New: D. Pearce, Midfielder, 106,600K- He spent the entire 2011 season with the Oakleigh Chargers, and averaged 18 disposals and 5 marks a game going at 73 % disposal efficiency. He was taken Pick 49 in the 2011 draft. Needs consistent game time to come onto my radar; it’s very likely he could get the vest don’t buy this year.
Guns: A. Cooney- Been hit hard by injuries and has never recaptured his Brownlow form, one to watch if he can recapture close to his best form he will be a cheap buy.
The bulldogs have been in good form beating the suns and coming close to the premiership fancied pies in the last few weeks. Adam Cooney is a big in and could be a good pick up if he gets back to his Brownlow form watch.

GEL: INS-M. Scarlett, J. Simpkin
Outs- B. Smedts, J. Kelly
New: J. Simpkin, Midfielder, 113,200K- Was upgraded off the rookie list and he was a consistent ball magnet in the VFL last year averaging 25 disposals and six inside 50s. Been in the system a few years he’s one to watch.
The cats haven’t been in the best of form sitting 4W and 4L after 8 rounds but will look to recapture
last year’s form when they come up against the bulldogs. Big Orren has held his spot in the team this week and hopefully his price will rise and generate us some cash!
Our Tip- Geelong by 26
Sub Prediction- WB: D. Pearce GEL: J. Simpkin
RICH V HAW-Saturday Afternoon 1:45PM MCG
RICH: INS – B. Griffiths, T. Vickery
Outs – B. Miller, D. Grimes
The tigers will be looking for a big scalp after falling just short to 4 of the top few sides. They have been in good form without getting a breakout win, Brett Deledio and Trent Cotchin have been in great form lately and some will be looking for Dustin Martin to lift and break the hundred barrier this week.
HAW: No Change
The Hawks have been in decent form winning the last 3 and will be looking to continue that form against the tigers. Luke Hodge has only played two games this season and looks to be out for the next 4-6 weeks if you have him trade!
Our Tip- Hawthorn by 14
Sub Prediction- HAW: P. Puopolo RICH: B. Griffiths
GCS V PORT-Saturday Afternoon 2:10PM Metricon Stadium
GCS: INS- A. Magin
Outs- L.Russell
After the terrible loss to GWS and Nathan Bocks season ending leg injury, the past few weeks for the suns have been grim and they will be looking to bounce back with a win against the power at home. Gary Ablett could tear it up against the Power he’s a great choice as your captain, also David Swallow is out for the next 4-6 weeks so if you still have him trade.
PORT: INS- D. Stewart
Outs- J. Butcher
The power have been pretty big improvers this season and had a great win against a disappointing North Melbourne outfit last week. Jay Schulz kicked 7 goals last week and picked up 110 SC points could be an option in the coming weeks, watch.

Saint Kilda vs Sydney - Saturday, 4:40, Etihad Stadium.
STKILDA
INS - James Gwilt, Arryn Siposs
OUTS -Beau Wilkes, Rhys Stanley
The two outs for the saints will be annoying for some, Rhys Stanley is out with a hamstring and is likely to miss a few, if you have him, trade now!
SYDNEY
INS - Nil
OUTS - Nil
No changes for the Swans this week after a big win on the weekend, Goodes and Mumford are still out, but keep an eye on big mummy, he should return within the next couple.
Look out for Nick Dal Santo this week, he’s had a slow start to the year, and he knows that, he’s due for a big week and he needs to perform to help the saints get over the line. I’d strongly consider him as a trade option this week at $481,900 with a low break even of 77.
Josh Kennedy has been on fire this year, and is ranked fourth overall in total points so far this season, look for another strong score this week. One to consider is Ryan O’keefe, at only $460,000 he is a proven Supercoach performer and his score of 136 on the weekend reflected that, consider!
Our Tip - Sydney by 8
Sub Prediction - STK: Siposs SYD: Johnson
GWS vs Essendon - Saturday, 7:40, Skoda Stadium.
GWS
INS - Hampton, Kennedy, Smith, Sheil, Bugg, McDonald.
OUTS - Palmer, Hoskin-Elliott, Buntine, Tomlinson, Wilson, Greene.
Some very relevant ins, thanks Sheeds! Every coach should have at least one of the ins, all of these blokes were frustratingly out last week but now that they’re back and we should see some nice price rises from the boys this week.
ESSENDON
INS - Pears, Colyer, McVeigh
OUTS - Jetta, Heppell, Fletcher
Heppell is the big one, he is out apparently with a knee but everyone knows its just a rest, but don’t worry, it’s almost a certainty to be straight back in next week.
Look out for big games this weekend from both Stanton and Jobe Watson who are both in outstanding form this season and could perhaps score 350 between them! So look out for these guys as well as any other bomber for that matter, big scores are coming!
Our Tip - Essendon by 100
Sub Prediction - GWS: Darley DONS: Colyer
Adelaide vs Collingwood, Saturday, 7:40, AAMI Stadium.
CROWS
INS - Douglas
OUTS - Lynch
Not a lot here in term of selections, however the big news from the weekend was Patty Dangerfield who absolutely killed it against the blues scoring a massive 174, he’s in the form of his career at the moment and for those of you who picked him up early, well done!
PIES
INS - Elliot, Williams
OUTS - Swan, Reid
The raining Brownlow medalist is out this week after going down on the weekend with a hamstring injury, will miss the next few which should hurt many coaches, it would be wise to hold on to him if you’re short on trades. Marley Williams, a 94,700 midfielder makes his debut this weekend in swans absence, take a look at him, but his job security certainly is the killer, the same goes for first gamer Jamie Elliot, a $106,600 forward.
This game will be full of Supercoach stars, including Thompson, Dangerfield, Sidebottom and Pendlebury, it should be a cracking match and look for these guys to step up!
Our Tip - Crows by 14
Sub Predictions - ADE: Wright COLL: Williams
North Melbourne vs Brisbane – Sunday, 1:10pm, Etihad Stadium
NORTH MELBOURNE:
INS- Aaron Edwards, Cruize Garlett, Samuel Wright, Aaron Black
OUTS- Brad McKenzie
Cruize Garlett ($257,800 – MID) had a 31 possession game for North Ballarat on the weekend, 13 of which were contested. His ability to win the inside ball whilst also racking up the touches will be a valuable addition to the Roos’ side.
BRISBANE:
INS- James Hawksley, Aaron Cornelius, Elliot Yeo
OUTS- None
New: Elliot Yeo ($106,600 – MID)
Named on the extended bench, Elliot Yeo averaged 26 disposals in his final seven games for East Fremantle. He recorded the best result for the standing vertical leap, and the agility test in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft Combine. Pick no. 30 overall, who is highly rated by the Lions, averaged 26 disposals in his final seven games for East Fremantle. Could be a great downgrade option if he performs at AFL level, watch.
Our Tip - North by 32
Sub Prediction – NM: Wright BRIS: Yeo
Carlton vs Melbourne – Sunday, 3:15pm, MCG
CARLTON:
INS- Aaron Joseph, Robert Warnock, Brock McLean, Kane Lucas, Andrew Collins, Matthew Watson, Joshua Bootsma
OUTS- Marc Murphy (Shoulder), Jordan Russell, Bret Thornton, Nick Duigan (Calf)
With even new faces added to last week’s team, Robert Warnock (467,400 – RUC) could be the one to watch, named on field in the ruck for his first game of 2012. He recorded the second best centre bounce differential of any ruckman in the AFL last year, but his kicking let him down, going at only 50% by foot.
MELBOURNE:
INS- Lynden Dunn, Rohan Bail, Luke Tapscott, Joel Macdonald, Troy Davis, Daniel Nicholson, James Sellar
OUTS- Aaron Davey, Colin Sylvia, Cale Morton, Liam Jurrah (Ankle)
New: Troy Davis ($113,200 – DEF)
Casey Scorpions’ defender Troy Davis, has been named on the extended bench to play is first AFL game. He is a key defender which will significantly influence his SuperCoach scores , and only averaged 15 disposals (more handballs than kicks) per game in the VFL. Probably not a major concern for us coaches unless he surprises us all.
Our Tip – Carlton by 59
Sub Prediction – CAR: Curnow MEL: Nicholson
West Coast vs Fremantle – Sunday, 4:40pm, Pattersons Stadium
WEST COAST:
INS- Matthew Priddis, Ashton Hams, Scott Lycett
OUTS- None
Matt Priddis ($503,500 – MID) will be an important inclusion into the Eagles’ side. I wouldn’t consider trading him into your team just yet, but with a breakeven of 185 and predicted to drop $40,000, he could be a cheap option for your midfield come the byes. Priddis has been increasing his disposal numbers and SuperCoach points since his debut, until this year where he has only been averaging 91 points a game. He should soon bounce back to his 2011 form where he was ranked #1 in the comp. for handballs and #2 for contested possessions.
FREMANTLE:
INS- Nick Suban, Jesse Crichton, Alex Silvagni, Jonathon Griffin, Hayden Crozier
OUTS- Garrick Ibbotson, Dylan Roberton
New: Hayden Crozier ($106,100 – FWD/MID)
Crozier also named on the Sunday extended bench kicked 29 goals in 25 games for the Eastern Rangers and recorded the second best result for the vertical jump in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft Combine. On top of that, he took one of the most spectacular marks ever seen at the NAB U-18 Championships in a game where he booted 4 goals. He is an exciting player who will probably play as a half-forward flanker before pushing into the midfield. Potential cash cow if he plays.
