The good news is that it coincides with the AFL split-round, meaning that Sandi effectively gets a two week break, which hopefully sets him up for the remainder of the year.
Thankfully, Fremantle’s run home is no lay down misere, with Geelong, Hawthorn and Port Adelaide still to come.
But Brisbane in Brisbane awaits in Round 22. There’s no guarantees that big Aaron will catch that plane.
- WHAT TO DO
Firstly, if you have (or can get) Ben Brown (NM) or Cameron Wood (Carl) as cover, I would do that and lock them in as an emergency for Friday’s match between the two. Then, if they get a score you could live with, leave Sandilands on the field so that Brown or Wood’s score covers Sandilands’ zero. Genius. A Derickx (Syd) to Brown trade might be smarter long-term than a Sandilands to Minson (WB) trade. Here’s what to do if both of the above score a spuddy score like less than 30:
Leaving a zero (or 20 or 30) on the field could be the difference between SuperCoach glory and failure. The SC finals start in two rounds remember. Leave nothing in the tank and give it your all. See below for best trade options. |
- COMFORTABLE WITH LEAGUE POSITION - LOW TRADES (1-4)
Save those trades and pray that Sandilands is back straight after the split-round.
- COMFORTABLE WITH LEAGUE POSITION - DECENT TRADES (5+)
- SO YOU'RE TRADING
Minson, Ryder (Ess) and McIntosh (Geel) are all great options and you don’t need much (if any) cash reserve to acquire them.
But, if you have some funds saved up in that piggy-bank of yours, definitely look to splurge on Jacobs (Adel) or Goldstein (NM), the latter has exploded into form right when his side needs him.
Todd Goldstein has averaged 125 since Round 11 when he was $455k. He's now worth $562k with a BE of 77 #buylow #sellhigh
