Chris Knights - Forward - $248,300 - Richmond
Chris Knights has all of a sudden come into SuperCoach calculations after his move from Adelaide to Richmond in the free agency period.
Knights is highly under priced mainly due to his poor 2012 season; only playing the 5 games for a return of a 46 SuperCoach average (3 games he started as the sub) and falling out of favour with new coach Brandon Sanderson.

Knights has done it before
But Knights has been a great scorer in the past and even averaged 90 back in 2007 in only his third season, so with a change of teams and a new environment, it should only benefit Knights and help him get back to his best.
Richmond has brought out the best in some of their new recruits in the last few years and one specifically, Knights’ former teammate from Adelaide, Ivan Maric.

Maric averaged 69 SuperCoach points in his last year at the Crows and only played the six games as he fell out of favour as Sam Jacobs took over as the number one ruckman. Maric then moved to Richmond and was one of the best ruckmen of the year after playing 21 games and increasing his average by 44 points, to a whopping 113 SuperCoach points.
I would expect Knights to play off a half forward flank while pinch hitting in the midfield when one of the midfielders need to rest up forward. Knights knows where to goals are and has the ability to win a lot of the football which can result in some big SuperCoach scores. Knights should play every game in 2013 if fit, as his job security is pretty good in the Richmond side.

Durability has been an issue with Knights though, only once playing over 20 games in a season once in his career. With Knights being so cheap though, and with each SuperCoach coach getting an increase of trades up to 30, the rewards outweigh the risks. If Knights has a good pre season and shows good form in the NAB Cup than Knights would have to be considered for a spot in your SuperCoach side as a forward.
