Welcome to the weekly review of the Team of Champions – as selected by you. Not the greatest of scores for the opening round, but we did manage to break the 2,000 pt barrier with a total score of 2,083. At the moment we sit 12th on our public league ladder, waiting to pounce with an overall ranking of 67,683rd.
Heroes : Most of our stars stood up, with the best being Gaz (178), Pendles (160), Gibbs(150), Birchall (122), Rockliff (122), Cotchin (119), Kennedy (109) and Moloney (100). Special mention also to our bench warmer Viney (117), as well as backman Pittard (93).
Villains : Some very disappointing scores from some of our selections really let the team down this week. Worst offender was first gamer (and sub!) Kane MITCHELL (13) – especially since he took a midfield spot that Viney might have been in, dammit. Other failures included Macaffer (44), Roughead (58), Karnezis (60), Franklin (62) and Dangerfield (63).
Our cause wasn’t helped with three backmen not getting named – Terlich, Docherty and Colquhuon. One would expect, after last week’s dismal performance by the Demons, that Terlich would be a definite inclusion this week, thus preventing us from another zero on the field. Fingers crossed.
No major selection dilemmas this week – no injuries to speak of, and it’s safe to say Viney will find a spot on the field this weekend.
Till next week…
What changes need to be made? Wait it out or pull the trigger? It's your call!
