That’s right. I’m back.
The last month has been a whirlwind, as I’ve been overseas due to a situation that will affect many. However, that knowledge is confidential.
When my plane landed I figured I’d watch a game of footy; the Roos were hosting the Tigers. Perfect.
What I saw was a performance that would make many of my former associates weak at the knees. It was spineless. A gutless performance from the men in red and black.
65,000 Richmond members have been waiting some time for a showing that justifies their loyalty and money. And they should have got it, with a 35 point lead at half time.
We all know how it pans out. Dusty fizzes out again. Riewoldt refuses to lead. Vickery plays from behind. Rance turns it over.

It’s frustrating to watch, and I don’t even follow those ‘pussy cats’. They are playing less like the proud African big cat and more like a farm chicken who would rather sit on its arse all day.
Just NOT good enough. No structure, no conviction, no idea.
I’m not one who likes to see coaches sacked, or admiral servants discharged, but it might be time for ‘Dimma’ to go.
The flame of expectation that was burning so brightly for Richmond at the start of the season has certainly ‘dimmed’ - it is little more than a flicker now.
To the players: You can either lick your finger and your thumb and put an end to the misery Tigers - or you can MAN UP, start BELIEVING IN YOUR MATES and KEEP your coach’s job!
Now get to it, or you’ll be jumping through hoops in the circus rather than strutting your stuff on the big stage.
Chief out.
