Pick 6 - Chad Wingard (Port)
Wingard is a mid-size left footer and an excellent fit for Port. Expect to see him play plenty of games in the developing Port Adelaide side, so even though he'll cost a bit, it will be worth it. Not a huge ball winner but loves to sneak forward and kick a goal. Only available as a midfielder. Price: $171,600
Pick 8 - Billy Longer (Bris)
Brisbane chose to grab a young ruckman and Billy Longer will be a great ruckman; he loves
Pick 12 - Sam Docherty (Bris)
Docherty is a very versatile defender in that he can hold an opposition or rebound off half-back, which he is very good at. Pair that with the Lions' leaky defence and we could see plenty of games for Docherty. He's a Def/Mid Dual Position Player, so if he's named round 1, he's a good pick-up. Price: $141,400
Pick 15 - Brandon Ellis (Rich)
Richmond have got themselves a great pick, in my opinion. Another rebounding, playmaking defender, Ellis has a fantastic kick and reads the play very well. Not sure if he'll play right away but the Tigers love to blood their cubs early. Price: $126,600
Pick 16 - Thomas Sheridan (Freo)
Sheridan wasn't a huge ball winner early on but he had a huge tank - he recorded one of the best endurances at the Draft Combine. Then last year for the Cannons he averaged 24 disposals; he's got it all! I hope he plays a lot this year but I don't think he will, there are plenty of names (Pavlich, Barlow, Mzungu, Mundy, Broughton, Fyfe, Lower, Hill) still ahead of him at this stage. Price: $121,600
Pick 17 - Clay Smith (WB)
Contested footy, hard-ball gets, tackles, that's Clay Smith for you. It might be time for the Bulldogs to introduce a few younger, harder kids at a time when they are on the downward spiral. A good cash-cow option. Price: $116.600
Pick 18 - Bradley McKenzie (NM)
Rebounding defenders are all the rage right now, but in SuperCoach McKenzie is classified as a midfielder. Not a massive ball winner but when he gets the ball he'll usually do something good with it. Certainly would be a unique pick for your bench. Watch the pre-season. Price: $111,600
Pick 19 - Elliott Kavanagh (Ess)
Played only 4 games in 2011 due to injury but was still the Bombers' first pick. With this reputation, obviously he can play. Just don't expect anything this year.
Price: $106,600
Pick 20 - Hayden Crozier (Freo)
A very, very exciting forward-line prospect for the Dockers, he can be selected as a Forward or Midfielder for SC 2012. He kicks goals and averaged 19 disposals at the TAC cup last year, I expect many teams will have him. Oh, and he took THAT mark last year. Price: $106,600

Pick 21 - Tom Mitchell (Syd)
Rumour has it that Mitchell would've gone in the top 5 had the Swans not had the Father-Son option, meaning that the Swans saved you nearly $100,000. A real ball magnet, the only concern is whether or not he'll play, as the Swans haven't always been big with youngsters. If he's named to play the Giants, you must pick him. Price: $106,600
