1. Dean COX West Coast
2. Jimmy BARTEL Geelong
Universally admired for his courage and ability to influence games when his team needs him to, BARTEL has had a steady 2012, averaging 101 pts a game. Returning to Skilled Stadium this week – where he has averaged 104 pts over his career – BARTEL takes on the Port Power, against who he averages 126 pts per game. That’s impressive enough, but check out Jimmy’s last three games against the Power – 159 pts, 113 pts and 126 pts. Nice.
3. Jed ADCOCK Brisbane Lions
Reliable Brisbane defender ADCOCK hasn’t set the world on fire in fantasy terms in 2012, averaging 91 pts per game up until this point. However, the Lions seem to be hitting some form and take on Melbourne at home this week – a team he averages 126 pts against. Again, as with BARTEL, that sounds pretty good, but it looks even better when you check out his last three scores against the Demons – 140 in 2012, 143 in 2011 and 126 in 2009. Them’s some big numbers!
Other options for this week from the teams playing against the weaker opponents look to be PRIDDIS and NATANUI against the Suns, Josh KENNEDY against GWS, or Joel SELWOOD against the Power.
