Hey SuperCoaches,
Well, well, well… Just when my team looked like averaging 2350-2400 for the rest of the year and I had my team settled, Nicholls goes down and Sam Jacobs continues to perform poorly. Along with Nick Riewoldt being under an injury cloud.

They’re my issues, along with NicNat not returning and I am sure you have your own issues- on the plus side Dangerfield and Watson may be returning to your sides this week. I’ve sourced out two more PODs that will hopefully give your team the edge as the season comes to an end.

Tom Liberatore (WBD) - Midfielder
Price: $545,500 (b/e +100)
Selected In: 2.84%
Games: 17 Average: 103.41
3 Round Projection: 119pt average
Don’t let Libba’s season average scare you away; he has averaged 120 over the past 5 weeks. Although he is sometimes inconsistent, he has shown periods throughout the year of finding consistency. Starting the year with 130 two weeks in a row and in the past three weeks he has scored 125, 120, 118, showing that he may be developing that consistency needed from SuperCoach stars. Similar to Jack Steven who I wrote about last week, he is not owned by many teams due to his inconsistency, but as it develops more people will notice him and you will no longer have a POD, so jump on ASAP!! He is a hard ball gatherer and loves tackling, shown by a massive 12 last week. He would be a great addition to your midfield.
Leigh Montagna (STK) - Midfielder
Price: $525,100 (b/e +59)
Selected In: 1.38%
Games: 16 Average: 109.62
3 Round Projection: 105pt average
Much to my delight I have managed to sneak another St.Kilda player into my POD list. I chose Joey because he is scoring very well and he is in such a low percentage of teams. His 3 round projection isn’t flattering, but he is coming off a 145 and a 122 and has scored 11 tons in 16 games and a 98. He does sneak the odd 80 in, which is worrying, but his upside is better in my opinion; only two of his 11 tons have been under 110, and numerous have been 130 -140+ which makes him a great x-factor. Even though he does slip in the 80 every now and again, because he scores so highly at times he is actually ranked 19th overall for total points in 2013. If you are a punting man or woman I would suggest jumping on, only 5 rounds and there is every chance he could pump out one 80 but four scores of 120+.
I would also just like add that while I do all my research on my own, watching games and looking at stats on SuperCoach Gold. I think that my POD selections have been reasonable and my Twitter advice useful. I noticed recently, after completing this write-up, that both this weeks POD selections and some of my previous POD selections have appeared in a recent Herald Sun article about players who could take you to SuperCoach glory this year (available at: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/the-six-supercoach-stars-that-could-take-you-from-also-ran-to-premiership-glory/story-fni5f3gz-1226688293594). I think that this somewhat proves, if not boosts my credibility, if you were unsure about my advice to begin with.
