Aaron Sandilands
Sandilands was far from the Dockers worst in last week’s drubbing, in fact he was their top scorer with 106. This week he comes up against a ruckless Bombers, with Paddy Ryder failing to return from his stint on the sidelines. Sandi is one to strongly consider, given his superb form he is in and we very well know how high his ceiling can be.
Gary Ablett
Realistically this guy takes the fun out of choosing a captain, because he is always going to be your vice-captain or captain depending on the fixture. Gaz showed last week exactly why this is the case, 182 points against the Lions last week saw many SuperCoach’s again rejoicing in his brilliance. With scores of 149, 189, 170 and 144 in his last four meetings with the Hawks, lock him in!
Dayne Beams
A unique option for your loop hole this week, Beams has reeled off three centuries to start 2014 and despite some doubt over his fitness this week he has been given the all clear. Beams has the ability to produce massive scores and is in good touch at the moment, if you want something a little different he is well worth the gamble.
Scott Pendlebury
An obvious choice for most with the vice captain this week. Like Beams there is some query over his fitness but Pendles is all class and after a slightly below standard week against the Cats, he will be eager to have a huge impact against the Tigers.
Steve Johnson
Last time Johnson met the Eagles, he was everywhere, racking up 37 disposals (12 contested), seven inside 50’s, laying seven tackles and delivering 110 SC points. He thrives at Simonds Stadium and against a somewhat depleted West Coast midfield, he could again find plenty of the sherrin.
